ROSECO
ROOT-BASED BIOPLASTIC

Start at
the root.

Every other compostable plastic begins with a resin purchase. Ours begins in a Thai field, with a farmer we can name.

01  ·  THE ROOT

It starts with
a farmer.

Cassava grown by Thai smallholders, on land Thai Wah has worked alongside for over 75 years. Every order you place reaches back to them, because the chain never leaves the group.

That is not a sourcing note. It is the reason this material exists at all.

WHY A ROOT

Made from a root.
Made to go back.

A root is where a thing starts and where it returns. Ours is grown in Thai soil, engineered to run on the machines you already own, and certified to break down into clean compost that feeds the ground again.

For the planetIt returns to soil as clean compost, and the process waste becomes biogas and fertiliser that go back onto the farm. For the problemEvery pack you switch is one that has somewhere to go, instead of somewhere to sit for four hundred years. For youA certified claim your buyers can defend under audit, on a material that runs on your existing line.
02  ·  THE MATERIAL

It becomes
a material.

Starch is the easy part. Making it hold a seal and run at line speed is the engineering. Eighteen full-time researchers and three research institutes work on that problem, and ten grades came out of it.

03  ·  YOUR PRODUCT

This is where
you come in.

Your pack is the part of the loop the world actually sees. Film, bags, trays, bowls, straws and moulded parts, carrying a mark that tells the person holding it exactly what it is and where it goes.

Put the mark on your pack.
It is how a shopper knows you chose this on purpose.

04  ·  THE SOIL

It goes home.

Certified to return to soil, and the process waste becomes biogas and biofertiliser that go back onto the farm. The loop closes on the person who started it.

WATCH

See it made,
and see it go.

The plant, the material and the people behind it, filmed at Thai Wah rather than assembled from stock.

FUNCTIONALITY

It runs on the line
you already own.

This is the objection that kills most bioplastic trials, so we publish the answer instead of promising it. Every grade carries its barrel and die temperatures, and every one is built for conventional extrusion machinery. No new capital. No rebuilt process.

THE LOOP, IN FULL

And the loop
keeps going.

Most compostable packaging stops its story at the composter. Ours does not, because Thai Wah owns what happens next. Cassava becomes starch, starch becomes Roseco, Roseco becomes your pack, the pack becomes compost, and the process waste becomes biogas that powers the plant and biofertiliser that goes back onto the farm.

A closed loop inside one company, rather than a supply chain diagram with a hopeful arrow at the end.

VERIFIED BY

Proven seven times,
by seven independent
bodies.

Home and industrial composting, food contact, chemical safety and hazardous substances, each tested by an independent body. We will send you the certificate with its scope, because the scope is what your auditor asks for, not the logo.

MEMBER OF

We help write the rules, not just follow them.

We sit inside the bodies that set bioplastics standards in our two most demanding markets, which is how we see where the rules are going before they arrive.

Thai Bioplastics Industry Association

The industry body for bioplastics in Thailand, working on national standards and adoption.

Japan BioPlastics Association

The Japanese body behind the GreenPla identification system, and the reference point for buyers in Japan.

Certified for home and garden composting, the harder of the two standards and the one shoppers ask about.

THE INVITATION

Change the material.
Change what the world
does with it.

There are billions of packs on shelves this morning, and almost every one of them was a decision somebody made. One converter changing one line moves more than a thousand shoppers ever could.

You do not have to change everything to start. One grade, one line, one product. We will help you run it, and the farmers, the researchers and the growers already in this are on your side from day one.
